REMOTE SUPERVISION CPD WORKSHOP
The Ideals & The Reality (or how to manage it as safely as possible!)

This course is offered as part of the MLTA CPD programme, and is aimed at anyone involved  with Remote Supervision is an integral part of D of E and other expedition training.

We aim to discuss what “true” remote supervision is and how we apply it in reality, especially with regards to young people. Using scenarios, activities and a short walk in the local area, we will discuss how to manage remote supervision smoothly and safely, without spoiling the feeling of self-reliance and adventure for the participants.
It is very much a sharing of ideas, not a “taught” session and there will be plenty of time available for Q&A.
